Students will be automatically registered to take the TSI assessment if they meet one of the following criteria: Currently enrolled in Algebra Accepted to Jimmy Carter Early College High School Accepted into any P-TECH program at La Joya High School No additional requirements are needed for students who meet any of the criteria listed above. Our Power Up Club had an incredible learning experience at the UTRGV Coastal Studies Lab in beautiful South Padre Island! 🌊⚡ Students explored how renewable energy is used in coastal environments, participated in a hands-on STEM activity where they built a robotic arm, and wrapped up the day with an exciting shark dissection—identifying and extracting major organs while learning about marine biology. 🦈🔬 Thank you to their sponsors, Mrs. Reyna and Mrs. Moreno, for guiding and supporting our students throughout this unforgettable experience! A day full of discovery, innovation, and inspiration for our future STEM leaders! 💡
